The upstairs room was bright & comfortable! 😍 We loved the clever little touches like milk left in the fridge for tea. The bathroom felt pretty cramped though.

I discovered some local gems! Hectors Bothy served drool-worthy haggis, and Kyle Chinese Take Away nailed it with their crispy sweet and sour chicken. The Family Room with Lake View was comfy, and I loved the easy access to the Plock for a crackin’ morning walk.
While the room had charm, it was small, and the bathroom needed a serious scrub! The TV was dinky and only a handful of channels available. A cheeky shower schedule restriction made mornings a bit too leisurely for my liking.

The upstairs room offered a bright and inviting space that made for a cozy atmosphere during my stay. I appreciated the thoughtful extras like milk in the fridge for tea and coffee, which added a nice touch.
While the room had its charm, the bathroom was extremely cramped, making it uncomfortable to shower. The TV was poorly positioned—only visible from the small daybed—and with limited channels requiring additional fees, it wasn't much use. the shower had restrictions on usage hours which really cramped the morning routine. Parking could also become a hassle if guests were careless with their vehicles. these issues made it harder to enjoy the good moments.

quiet area, reliable WiFi, bright upstairs room
The bathroom felt cramped, with a shower space too small for comfort!!! Parking can get tricky if guests don't follow instructions!!! Fresh milk was off, which is disappointing!!! No proper breakfast options until 9am is inconvenient!!!

The bathroom needed attention, with dirty tiles and no washcloths provided. The room felt cramped, lacking comfort, made worse by the TV's awkward position and limited channels. there were quiet hours restricting shower use. On a brighter note, the guava jam offered a delightful complement during breakfast, and the location was convenient for ferry access, although dining options were limited at night and in the morning.
